Hirano Kotaro
Born in Tokyo in 1959. After working for Nippon Design Center and Nakahata Advertising Office, established his own studio in 1987. His wide-ranging activities include VI/CI, signage, architecture, display and graphics in developing the identities for public facilities and corporations.
About the design
There are many things that I've been wondering about design and its beauty. These metal parts are one of them. With every futility shaved off, they are truly functional and yet attractive. This work is themed how I can re-create those beauty with Cold foil printing.
