About the design
“Jyu-yaku” is another name for Dokudami, Houttuynia cordata, which is sold as water grass in the States and Europe. I have five old plum trees in my garden, and we hearvest them every year. Soon after the harvest, the bottom of plum trees are covered with green leaves and white flowers of Dokudami. People don't usually grow them in gardens because of it smells bad, but the flowers are pretty nobel and beautiful. They start blooming in the end of May, when the rainy season is about to begin.
