Kato Shuzo
Born in Gihu in 1948. Became freelance in 1976. Awards received include the International Poster Triennial in Toyama Bronze Prize in 1985, the International Biennial of the Poster in Mexico Bronze Prize in 2002, and many more in Japan and abroad.
About the design
Reflecting the American customs I used to love when I was young from 1960s to 1970s, I expressed date as blocks. Blocks of life become a history.
