Fukushima Osamu
Born in Hiroshima in 1958. Graduated from Nihon Designer Gakuin in 1978. Established Fukushima Design in 1999. Major achievements include the Tokyo ADC Awards, the International Biennial of the Poster in Mexico First Prize, the NY ADC Bronze Prize, the International Advertising Festival (Cannes Lions) Gold Prize, the JAGDA New Designer Award, and many more. Professor at Tokyo Polytechnic University.
About the design
To make the most of Cold Foil with silver coating, I drew richly colored bees clustering around a beehive, inlaying various colors entirely. I emphasized the vivid beauty of shining foils to impress the audience at a single glance. A group of bees also represent noisy life of today's society.
