Nagai Kazumasa
Born in Osaka in 1929. He left the Sculpture Department of Tokyo University of the Arts in 1951. Joined the launch of Nippon Design Center in 1960, where he currently serves as Senior Exective Adviser. Awards recieved include the Minister of Education Prize for the Art, the Medal with Purple Ribbon, METI Design Merit Award, the Order of the Rising Sun Gold Rays with Rosette, the Tokyo ADC Grand Prix, and grand prizes at international biennials in Brno, Warsaw, Moscow, Helsinki, Mexico, and Hong Kong.
