Printing Technology
They provide a combination of short turnarounds, reasonable costs and high-value added printing, using printers alone to accomplish wide color gamut printing, high-intensity silver and pearl, and monogram coating. They reduce the cost of special papers by using silver and pearl coatings, and make use of partial coating so that ordinary expression is simultaneously possible. A wide range of expression is achieved in monogram coating by adding texture and controlling light reflection.
Corporate Outline
Established in 1949, Taisei Futaba originally specialized in surface processing, including varnishing, press coating and laminating. They introduced their first offset printers in 1995 and later brought in silk printers and hot stamping machines to provide a full lineup of specialty added-value printing. More recently, they have acquired printers equipped with coating units before and between the printing units, which enable them to bring greater differentiation to printed matter while also reducing costs. Though their hardware is impressive, the company says it is their printing directors’ extensive knowledge of added-value printing that enables them to achieve concrete expression of the creator's image and maximize the intended message.
