Prining Technology
Cold foil printing is a technique for adding color after adhesive transfer of foil. The result is a wide palette of metallic expression. Tinting uses the same PS technology as ink for a greater degree of freedom in foil expression that extends from solids all the way to fine text. “Wide Color” is a press technique that achieves a wider color gamut than conventional 4-color by applying wide color gamut 4-color separation to RGB data. The ink itself is extremely thick so that a sufficient perception of density can be achieved even with a thin ink film. The result is high value added “4-color printing that transcends 4 colors.”
