Adachi Shiori
After graduating from Sapporo School of the Arts in 2005, worked for Terashima Design Studio for four years. Became freelance in Tokyo in 2009. Received the Sapporo ADC New Designer’s Award and three Jury’s Choices, the Warsaw International Poster Biennale, and more.
About the design
It is difficult to tell the full effect of Matte-Monogram at first sight, but its texture and appearance in the light are very unique. Therefore I aimed for an effective design with this technology.
The girl is crying. But you will find many plankton in her tears. Watch her carefully in the light: the plankton are classified in each tear frame. I intended a design to get people's unfailing interest.
