Ishikawa Minato
Born in Tokyo in 1948. Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Graphic Design in 1971. After working for advertising firms, established Ishikawa Minato Studio in 1985, and later launched a daily goods shop in Omotesando. Currently works mainly on graphic design and packaging.
About the design
My page was printed with the Super Fine Color. Usually this technology is used to reproduce photographs or tones, but this time I tried an illustration. I made different line drawings on computer in 7 colors, reproduced each line as thin as possible, and printed in a layer to try a pictorial expression.
