Kimura Katsu
Born in Utsunomiya in 1934. Established his own stduio, Packaging Direction in 1960. Engaged in a wide range of works including shopping bags for Bloomingdales in New York, VI design, and products development. Member of Tokyo TDC and Tokyo ADC.
About the design
There is a term to describe a night sky as “night of falling stars.” I put colores on the lines drawn by Iida Saku, my grandson, and made it into a piece of illustration. He might have drawn fireworks of stars, but I had done it like this! Be wild, be stars!
