Koiso Yuji
Born in Tokyo in 1966. Graduated from Tama Art University and joined Nippon Design Center in 1990. Established Koiso Design Institute within NDC in 2006. Member of Tokyo TDC. Achieved the One Show Design Merit and other numerous awards in Japan and overseas.
About the design
The popular account is that the Chinese character for “Bright” depicts a scene with both sun and moon floating in the sky. It must be very bright if you have twenty-four suns and four moons at the same time.
