Ishii Masako
Born in Ichikawa in 1951. Joined Kawabe Design Office in 1972. Established her own studio, Ishii Design Office in 1977.
About the design
Cherry blossoms in the park in front of my house have been there for more than 40 years. When the park blushes in pink I feel a warm wind; when the wind blows I get absorbed by the blizzard of falling petals. When my mother passed away, they were in full bloom though it was before the exuinox. Cherry blossoms reminds me of so many things.
