Born in Tokyo. Graduated from Japan Women’s University, Department of Housing and Architecture. After working for Nippon Design Center, Pentagram and Cortesi Design, founded Studio Compasso in 1990. Affiliate professor at Tama Art University. Awards received include the JAGDA New Designer Award, the Good Design Award, D&AD Yellow Pencil, and so on.
