Born in Tokyo in 1957. Graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Kogei High School. Founded N.G. in 1989. Major works include CI and graphics for Sagawa Express, advertising for California Travel & Tourism Commission, Yamazaki and Zen Whisky by Suntory, and various museums of modern art. Recepient of the NY ADC Gold Prize, JAGDA New Designer Award, and Tokyo ADC Award.

About the design

I was interested in to what extent the plasticity can be expressed by a special process on a flat composition with thin lines and a solid surface.
