Creative dirctor, Recruit.
Born in Tokyo in 1953. Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Graphic Design, and joined Recruit in 1976. Worked on various companies’ recruting advertisings as a designer. Director and producer of Creation Gallary G8 since 1985. Also joined the launch of Guardian Garden. Produced more than 600 exhibitions. Received the Mainichi Design Award Special Prize in 2005.

About this project

It was a large-scale project organizing not only as much as 365 designers but also integrating the cutting-edge printing technologies by sorting out the complicated processes. Everyone worked so hard with Mr. Kitagawa’s directions. Participating designers, staffs from Heidelberg Japan, and everyone from printing companies, we made it. I hope this unique calendar will go through several editions.
