Born in Fukuoka in 1956. Graduated from Kyushu Sangyo University, Faculty of Fine Arts in 1979. Art director at Seibu Mainichi Advertising.

About the design

One day I went to my memorable place. Aimlessly, as if being led by something. There were many tiny drops, roundish and very cute. At such moment, I always feel like drawing them as I pay my respect to the nature scene before my eyes.
