Okamoto Shigeo
Born in Nagoya in 1934. Graduated from Aichi University of Arts and Sciences. After working as a ceramic ware designer, established Okamoto Shigeo Design Studio in 1968. As a leading figure of the graphic design community in Chubu region, he serves as honorary president of Council of Chubu Design Organizations and Chubu Creators Club. Winner of the Warsaw International Poster Biennale Silver Prize, NY ADC Gold Prize, and more. His works are collected at many museums at abroad.
About the design
My collection_from my series of works themed under natural objects, I selected one with a sense of the season and created by using a photo together with a 3D scanner.
