Nagatomo Keisuke
Born in Osaka in 1939. Graduated from Kuwasawa Design School. Established K2 with Kuroda Seitaro in 1969. His works include editorial design, art directions for event facilities, advertising and corporate identity. He also contributes illustrations to essays and novels, and has published a number of his own books.
About the design
As a child my parents told me to tear the daily calendar in my house everyday. I remember myself reporting to family what kind of day it was in the old Chinedse divination. For me, the daily calendar was a communication tool between adults and me.
Each page of this calendar is designed by 365 people. It must be enjoyable.
