Born in Mie in 1958. Graduated from Mie University, Faculty of Education, Art Course in 1981. Established Ito Design Room in 1984. Professor at Nagoya Zokei University of Art & Design. Awards recieved include the JAGDA New Designer Award in 1994, the Warsaw International Poster Biennale Bronze Prize in 1996, and the Shanghai Expo International Poster Competition Honour Prize in 2006.

About the design

The rainy season is almost over and summer is just around the corner. I tried to express the bracing air under the glaring sunlight by the combination of a view before the eyes and an afterimage.
