Ritoh Linda
Born in Osaka in 1952. Established his own studio, Libido in 1982. Awards received include the 76th and 88th NY ADC International Awards, the 5th Moscow International Biennale of Graphic Design Golden Bee Sliver Prize, the 53rd NY TDC International Award and others.
About the design
This is inspired by a memory of one summer morning in a small village where I grew up. I depicted a rooster I encounteed, which was wild and full of beauty of life, with the traditional Japanese-style painting. Again, I realized my works are based on color, shape, and life.
