Kanome Takashi
Born in Hokkaido in 1927. Graduated from Department of Oil Painting, Tokyo University of the Arts in 1950. Achieved the Tokyo ADC Award in 1992, the Japan Package Design Awards Gold Prize in 1992 and 2009 and many others.
About the design
June 26 is a season of green. I was eager to use the glass work I made before. A keel-like green road disappears into the dark, blocked by a rising obstacle made by paper mold, with a dead leaf dancing around a space of dark night. The design looks as if telling us the forboding of earth losing greens. Give some greens to the earth!
