After working for Light Publicity, co-established ASA1000 with Katsumi Asaba in 1982. Mainly works on brand strategy, visual design and conlsulting, based on corporate identities. Art-directs advertising, books, catalogues, panphlets, packages, and websites.

About the design

Ancient scripts of Chinese character are orgin of scripts and have unique shapes and meanings. I combined ancient scripts printed on a woodblock print and a figure of cocoon as a symbol of today. It's a collaboration of 3000 B.C. and 21st century; a combination of woodblock print and new printing technology, Gloss monogram and UV coating.
