Born in Aichi in 1949. Graduated from Toho Gakuen Junior College. After working for Shigeo Okamoto Design Office and Zima, established Shunyo Yamauchi Design Office in 1979. Awards includ the JAGDA New Designer Award in 1983, among many others.

About the design

Today is one of those good days. It's calm, having some small trouble, a friend from far away comes over, clouds wonder around so crazy though it's sunny, it's raining a bit but the drops are shining. I went outside, but no raiin falls on me. I would love to have few more days like this.
